50 review response templates that don't sound like a robot

Every unanswered review costs you. Every generic 'Thanks for the feedback!' reply costs you almost as much. Here are 50 templates you can actually use.

The 3-part response formula

Thank + specific detail + forward action. Skip any of the three and it reads as canned. 'Thanks for the review' fails. 'Thanks for calling out Miguel — he'll be running your next service too' wins.

5-star templates (customer named the tech)

'Really glad to hear [tech name] took care of you — passing this to him. If anything comes up on the [job type], text us anytime.' Personalizing on the tech doubles the chance the reviewer refers you.

1-star templates (legitimate complaint)

'This isn't the experience we want anyone to have. I'd like to make it right — I'm [your name], the owner. Please text me at [number] and I'll handle this personally.' Never argue publicly. Move to text or phone.

1-star templates (dishonest or extortion)

'We have no record of servicing your address. Please contact us with your invoice number and we'll investigate. In the meantime we're flagging this review with Google.' Then report it through the platform's process and preserve the relevant records. Removal is Google's decision; do not promise a success rate.
