How it works

No mystery, no surprise bill. Here’s exactly what happens from your call to the job done.

Free site survey

We check your panel, the parking spot, and the run distance — on-site or over a quick video call.

Load calculation

The math that keeps you and the inspector happy: does your panel have the capacity, or do we add a subpanel?

Clean install

Conduit run tidy, charger mounted where you want it, a dedicated breaker added and labeled.

Permit & inspection

We pull the permit, meet the inspector, and hand you the sign-off — the paperwork your utility rebate needs.

Chargers we install

Bought your charger already? We’ll install it. Not sure which one? We’ll help you pick on the survey call.

What it actually costs

$450 – $1,500 installed sample

Most Level 2 installs land in this range depending on how far the charger sits from your panel and whether the panel has room for the new breaker. You get the exact number in writing after a free survey — no surprise charges, ever. Ask the assistant below for a ballpark on your specific setup right now.

What Springfield says

On a real build, these are your live Google reviews.

A Model Y owner, Cedar Grove sample

“Quoted the install to the dollar and it never moved. Explained every option, no upsell. Car was charging that night.”

A Rivian owner, Maple Falls sample

“Did the load calc properly instead of guessing. Added a subpanel, passed inspection first try.”

A first EV, Springfield sample

“Helped me pick the right charger and even filed the rebate paperwork. Clean conduit run, looks factory.”

Questions

Will my electrical panel handle an EV charger?

Often yes — but only a real load calculation tells us for sure. If your panel is full or undersized we add a subpanel or recommend an upgrade, and we tell you that on the free survey, not after we’ve started.

How long does the install take?

Most Level 2 installs are a half-day once the charger and location are confirmed. If a subpanel or a longer conduit run is involved it can be a full day — we’ll tell you up front.

Do I need a permit?

Yes, and we handle it. A permitted, inspected install protects your home insurance and is required for most utility EV rebates — we pull it and hand you the sign-off.

Which charger should I get?

Depends on your car and how fast you want to charge. Tell the assistant below what you drive and we’ll point you at a couple of good options in your budget — no pressure.
